HUDSON, WI – 5/12/2017 – Model E-1600-32A by Viking Electronics is an ADA compliant analog emergency phone. It is vandal resistant and designed to fit into a standard double gang box.

This emergency phone provides architects and installers with a modern solution that has a small footprint and can be mounted just about anywhere. The perfect answer for retrofits and even new installations.” – Bill Heideman, President of Viking Electronics, Inc.

The E-1600-32A ADA emergency call box is equipped with a “call connected” LED, grade 2 Braille, and is capable of transmitting a unique location I.D. or voice announcement when activated. Pair with Viking models LV-1K and LC-6 to comply with ASME A17.1 elevator code and share one phone line with up to six E-1600-32A phones. When the call button is pressed, a built in 5-number auto dialer calls programmed entries in a hunt sequence and rolls to the next entry on busy/no-answer signals. Programmed entries can include any phone number, extension, or compatible Central Station monitoring formats.

The small 5” x 5” footprint combined with the convenience of double gang box mounting, makes the E-1600-32A a great choice. It is phone line powered and requires only a single twisted pair for operation. The marine-grade 14-gauge stainless steel faceplate with brushed finish is attractive, durable, and vandal resistant. The available Enhanced Weather Protected (EWP) version, model E-1600-32A-EWP, is designed to withstand the toughest weather conditions and physical abuse.
