The E-1600-912-IP-EWP ADA Compliant Emergency Phone is designed to fit in Viking VE-9×12 Outdoor Enclosures. This emergency phone is designed to provide quick and reliable handsfree communication for SIP VoIP phone systems with PoE. The phone meets ADA requirements for elevator/emergency telephones, and can be programmed from any touch tone phone or PC on the same LAN or remotely using a static IP address. The phone can dial up to 5 programmable emergency numbers.

The E-1600-912-IP-EWP VoIP emergency phone can be programmed to automatically deliver a digital announcement to identify the location of the emergency call. Alternatively, a DTMF touch tone code may also be delivered. The stainless steel button features an built-in red LED that can be initiated manually or automatically to show “Call Connected”. All programming parameters, including phone numbers and location numbers, are stored in non-volatile memory, requiring no batteries. The unit is PoE powered (class 1, <4 Watts).

The E-1600-912-IP-EWP is equipped with Enhanced Weather Protection (EWP), ideal for outdoor installation where the unit is exposed to precipitation or condensation. EWP products are designed to meet IP66 standards and may feature foam rubber gaskets, sealed connections, gel-filled butt connectors, as well as potted circuit boards with internally sealed, field-adjustable trim pots and DIP switches for easy on-site programming.
